  5. Hello @James Snow Thank you very much for you interest in joining the Arma-Life development team. I am happy to inform you that your application has been ACCEPTED As of right now since I technically am on LOA and wish to be able to attend to your interview, we will have to delay it. This means that we will have to push the interview to sometime next week between Wednesday and Friday. I hope you are available sometime between those days, if not please message me or Zayne on either Teamspeak, Discord or here on the forums. Best regards, Kaiden Smith Development Manager
  6. Apparently some people are having some trouble with the current version of Teamspeak not being compatible with our verison of TFR/RP Radio. To fix this issue you simply have to update Teamspeak and then reinstall TFR with the updated version: Here (updated) I am not going to make a video since this requires around 10iq which I do assume the hole community has more than. If you somehow are unable to do this correctly then go to requesting support on Teamspeak and support will be able to help you out. Best regards, Kaiden Smith Development Manager
  7. Thank you for the application @Barry Coll Could you provide any of your past work by any chance?

  10. Name : Kaiden Smith You're interested in doing? : Can do most things including scripting. I am not on a scripting level like Travis, Leigham or these better Arma developers you might know, but I know a good enough amount to solve most problems, write a couple of small scripts and setting up some more advanced systems like A3Log. I do not model though, at least not anymore. I was able to model some buildings back a couple of years ago, but it is way too time-consuming and I generally don't find it easy to do. What experience do you have? : I have been around a lot of communities. My first time doing development for a bigger community was on ALRP. Mostly did textures and map stuff for them since I didn't know too much about scripting back then. Since then I have been doing development for big DK communities and been focussing on helping out the Arma 3 community just in general. I have done that by being on communities like ALRPG where I am an Indie Helper, being on The-Programmer where I am a Forum Moderator and Support, and ofc by being on the Arma forums. What timezone do you live in? : GMT+2
  11. Name: Kaiden Smith Age: 19 Why do you want to join Metro PD (100 Words): I would like to be a part of the MPD because I am tired of playing as a civilian in general. It mostly keeps being the same, you driving runs to get guns to go rob someone. As a police officer you have more time to interact with other people in another way than being told: "Hands up or die". As an officer, I would actually have the chance to interact with people in a roleplay manner. I personally have always enjoyed being a police officer on other communities too, but sometimes when you don't feel like dedicating time and sweat you just take the easy way as a civilian. That is not the case here though. Why should we choose you over other applicants?: You should choose me because of my experience in the police and just in general with roleplaying. I am not here to just shoot criminals and give tickets, I am here because I would like to have a good time and actually interact and have fun with other players. That ofc includes the duty that there is when you are a police officer. Me being here for that reason is also what makes me a good pick for the MPD. What are your previous experiences with being an LEO?: Most of my experience comes from the server ALRP. As you probably know it was absolute chaos, so to control that you really had to stick to the dirty work and do it right. There where constant criminals with big rifles out looking for fresh meat. On ALRP I reached the role of Sgt in the SERT. Other than that I went through a lot to become an officer on ArmaFreeProjectLife (copy of A3PL). It included an interview, multiple tests in both driving and shooting and once I finally passed, the server went down. But I did go through a hell of documents and got a taste of the desk work. I have also been apart of a couple of APD's (Altis Police Department) on some servers. My biggest achievement within the none modded community was on Altis-life.co.uk also known as Roleplay.co.uk now, where I got my first experience within a Police Department. What makes a good Police Officer in your opinion? (100 words) : A good police officer to me is a person who is a police officer for the right reasons. That can easily be shown in the way that the person interacts with both civilians and other police officers. A good police officer has the quality of patience and documented skills. He knows when to take lead and when to stay back. He follows the chain of command and always chooses life instead of fight. A good police officer must ofc also have some skill when it comes to driving, shooting and in some cases piloting. That is what I personally think makes a good police officer. Anything else?:
